3 Bedroom ground floor holiday cottage
The Milking Parlour is our 3 bedroom ground floor holiday cottage converted from the old dairy and milking parlour.
On ground floor level and with under floor heating The Milking Parlour makes an ideal self catering holiday cottage for families with young children. Especially suitable for babies and toddlers playing on the floor and for people preferring life without stairs.
Decorated in a contemporary style while incorporating the traditional character of the old beams and thick stonewalls.
Relax
This holiday cottage boasts a large lounge with patio doors onto the decking with views across the pond and fields beyond. With 2 large sofas and a flatscreen TV there’s plenty of room to relax and the warm floor is ideal for young children to play with the toys and crawl around. The laminate floors are ideal to keep cleaning for families with young children.
Eat
A new contemporary large well equipped and fully fitted kitchen designed for a self catering holiday includes a dishwasher, touch sensitive electric hob, microwave, fan oven, washing machine and large fridge/freezer. The farmhouse table table is ideal for family meals for up to 6 people but with ample space to add additional furniture for larger gatherings when groups rent all 3 cottages.
Highchairs can be supplied and toddler friendly plates and cutlery are provided.
Sleep
The Milking Parlour holiday cottage has 3 bedrooms. First a double room with an en suite shower room and then 2 twin rooms. In the first twin room one of the single beds can be rolled away to make more room for a travel cot. In the other twin, we can offer 2 single beds or a super king. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and ample space to bathe young children.
As well as cotton bed linen, luxury fluffy white towels combine for a hotel elegance with the informality of a self catering holiday.
A travel cot can be provided. There is room for the cot in the double room or one of the twin rooms.
